Occupational Therapist
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- 3 years of related experience is preferred.
Description
- Create a comprehensive client-centered plan of care using standardized and non-standardized
evaluation methods. - Use evidence from research and relevant resources to make informed intervention decisions.
- Work with clients 1:1 using client-centered, occupation-based treatment approaches that motivate
and challenge the client to achieve established goals that support targeted outcomes. - Collects data regularly and makes decisions based on empirical data.
- Cohesively works with the team prioritizing student development above everything else.
- Modify activities or treatment methods as needed based on client needs to maximize success and engagement.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, caregivers, families, colleagues, and other providers (ABA, ST, etc.) to ensure a cohesive, and holistic approach to therapy.
- Collaborate with parents to maximize carryover by developing and helping them maintain an effective, achievable home program.
- Complete evaluations and daily notes on time after each session.
- Conduct a minimum of six, 45-minute sessions in a given day.
